Energy Healing is a broad term for any therapy that stimulates the energy flow in or around the human body to repair and rebalance so that the body functions at its optimum. There are many therapies that work under the umbrella of “energetic healing” including Reiki, Reflexology, Kinesiology & Acupuncture. Also natural therapies such as Release Healing, Chakra balancing; Flower and Vibrational Essences, Crystal Healing & Colour Therapy. When trauma, emotional and mental stress, false belief systems, physical distress and other blocks to our personal growth are felt they can be stored in the energy fields of our bodies, impacting our ability to function at our full potential. Left & ignored in this state the energy WILL manifest into physical ailments. Energetic healing clears the blocks in the energy fields, repairing & rebalancing your chakras (your body's energy centres) so that the body can move to its optimal level of balance and help our body's innate ability to heal itself.
Energy Healing is also about accepting that you are an energy being. Our cells are made from Atoms, which are made from ions, which are simply... Energy! Even the most scientific sceptic would agree!
Energy exists in light, heat, sound, mass, gravity, chemicals, electricity and more...well everything! The body's energy systems emit electromagnetic energy light.
These systems include: The Meridians ~ the body's energy pathway The Chakras ~ the body's energy centres The Aura ~ the body's energy atmosphere
The Chakras
The word Chakra means 'wheel'or 'vortex' in Sanscrit. The seven chakras are the centers in our bodies in which energy flows through. Blocked energy in our seven chakras can often lead to illness, so it's important to understand what each chakra represents and what we can do to keep this energy flowing freely.
